Attilio Veneziano is the founder of Veneziano & Partners. A known expert in European regulation on financial services, author of Deepening the Single Market in Europe and regular contributor to several industry publications, Attilio is a qualified lawyer in Italy and a Solicitor in England and Wales. He started his career in London in the early 2000s as a practitioner in European extradition law. After that, he held different in-house legal positions at major financial institutions (Nomura, Barclays) focusing on the offshore investment funds industry. With more than 15 years’ experience and a unique blend of diversified exposure to cross-border European matters he founded Veneziano & Partners in the aftermath of the implementation of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive.

Attilio is a veteran of the Square Mile in London and today divides his time between the UK and the US to provide the niche in the niche services of Veneziano & Partners to some of the finest fund management houses and financial institutions, interested in distributing their services, strategies and products across Europe.
